About us

After years of International travel while in the Logistics and Software Development industries, Mindi chose to change careers and follow her passion for wine. She is a Level I Sommelier and has taught Wine Appreciation Courses through the Continuing Education Department at Chattanooga State. Mindi’s on the Board of Wine over Water, Chairman of the Best Cellars Event, and volunteer wine coordinator of the Chattanooga Symphony’s UnCorked! Event. As a University of Tennessee Alumni, you’ll find her wearing Big Orange on Saturdays at the store.

Jamie started out in the hospitality industry.  He worked as a host, server, bartender and manager at the Southside Grill and then moved to the CGCC where he served as a dining room manager and assistant director of service. Jamie joined the Riverside in 2007. Jamie enjoys cooking and playing trivia with his friends. 

Born in Memphis, Blake pursues the most experimental spirits in the market. He holds a great appreciation for engineering and the art of distilling.

A Chattanooga native with a background in video production, Melissa (or Missy as she’s known to her friends) began her career in spirits while in Nashville and quickly fell in love with all things brewed, fermented, and distilled. With a passion for learning and education, she runs social media accounts and ensures the shelves are well stocked in quality and interesting spirits and liqueurs.
